Beautiful wooden with silver trim double inkwell. This piece has two glass/crystal? inkwells with hinged lids. One top has disappeared (the hinge is still there) but the other is complete.
There is a drawer with silver trim and silver round drawer pull, and a pen rest on top.
There is lots of silver trim and a silver carrying bar on top and it has four round silver feet.
All corners are trimmed in silver, the trim is off one corner but is in the drawer. This piece is very rare and it is in very good condition.
It measures approximately l2” x 4.50” and is rather heavy.

This unusual (unused) classic corncob pipe from Washington Missouri still has the original label on the bottom of the bowl. The corncob part has been polished completely smooth. The stem mouthpiece is amber in color and attached to stem w/brass? fitting. Bowl measures 4 l/4" around, and pipe is 5 3/4" end to end.

This shield (escutcheon) is in excellent condition. it is from England and belonged to our Grandfather. In those days a gentleman brushed or was brushed "up" before he left the house. This included his hat, coat, and suit. The escutcheon itself is approx. 14" long and approx. 9 l/2" wide.
The large brush measures appros. 11 ½” in length and approsx 2 ½ “ across the broadest part.
The medium brush is approx. 7 l/4” in length and approx. 2” across.
The smallest is approx. 7” in length and approx. 1” across.
