ANTIQUE BRITISH TANTALUS W/CRYSTAL DECANTERS
Antique Oak British Tantalus with brass trim, with a trio of beautiful cut crystal decanters, is quite the collector’s piece.
The three crystal decanters have cane patterns cut into them, one has a very small chip, plus spherical lapidary cut stoppers.
They all sit in front of a beveled mirror. Three silver (?) hangers labeled cognac (bent), scotch and vermouth are included and are not original to the item; we think our parents added these later. Below the decanters is a double flapped compartment (for cards?). Below the compartment is a shallow transverse drawer (for game pieces.)
The wooden back has an age related crack.
The original key is included but it does not seem to work the mechanism. We did not want to force it, so we have included a wire which after flapped compartment is opened may be inserted in the bypass hole. Perhaps the new owner will know how to work it the key.
The measurements are 12” h, 14 l/2” w, & 10 ¾” deep

Vintage Spring (brand name, l75-7 Model number, Made in Switzerland) Copper (very heavy), plated with inner resting tray, bourguignonne fondue set. Has a set of six original fondue forks. Everything in original boxes.
Plus orig. recipe booklet in English, French, and German(?).
It has hand printed instructions from only owner on box “not to use cheese, etc., without pyrex bowl.) This bowl was not in original set so it is not included. Wonderful condition! Used a few times before put in storage for many years.
