What a find if you are a collector!
Has original label “Made by Houghtons Ltd. London” w/ British Flag with “ British” on the top and “Ensign” below. Has a metal plate on the front which says “PHOTO PLAIT 37 Rue LaFayette, PARIS-OPERA. There are complete instructions inside for installing the ENSIGN film, for the 2 l/2 Box Form.
The leather around edge where the camera opens is fragile, and there is some damage on a corner but considering the age of the camera it is in very good condition, even the leather handle is intact and secured to the top. We believe this belonged to our British Grandmother.

This camera (very heavy) looks to be in very good condition. It has a complete instruction (original) booklet. Plus it is in “genuine top grain cowhide” grey case with white stitching and Keystone Capri imprinted on the front.( also in wonderful condition ) We are not too familiar with the workings of this camera (belonged to father), but everything seems to turn or open. This camera is in excellent condition. Bellows look and act like new and all parts seem to work, including attached film roller inside. The only damage we can see is slight scuffing across the name plate on the front of the camera. Inside camera has information about film- uses Eastman l20 or Agla 8-2 film. Original owner’s wife put tape w/ settings for different light settings on camera so Dad did not have to look up. Original instruction booklet is included, which has suffered some wear and tear. Plus brown leather w/brown stitching camera case with strap. We assume this is the original case as camera fits inside, although there is no logo it also in excellent condition.

I remember this camera being used by my parents upon our entry into the USA from Canada in the 1940's, so I assume this is a Canadian model. (A sticker inside shows “patent pending in Canada 1934".) It seems to be in very good condition, the bellows go in and out, and are not torn or anything.
